Our motto is that we support local farmers so our products, as far as

possible, come from within South Africa.

We support a recycling initiative that employs people from Capricorn

to sort and, where possible, upcycle to earn income. Our hope is that

more of our community learn the importance of upcycling.

We employ, on an ad hoc basis, local street people, to break the cycle

of handouts. They assist with keeping our property clean and wash the

products, where necessary, for recycling.

The business is woman-owned.

We buy our frozen products in bulk packaging - cardboard boxes and

thick plastic, that is sent to the recycling plant as mentioned above.

We do have customers who prefer to decant their orders into their own

containers; the returned bags are then sent to the recycling plant.

Our fresh figs are packaged in cardboard boxes.

We sell a variety of nuts that are well-advertised on our price lists.
